Andrew Linfoot – Principal Officer and Director, Asia                                                                                         Andrew is the head of the Singapore Branch office of Pacific Life Re and is responsible for all activities in Asia. He has worked with other life reinsurers in Asia since 1996. Prior to his life reinsurance career, Andrew spent several years in pensions consulting with a large life office in Australia. A Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia since 1995, Andrew is actively involved in industry activities, and is a former President of the Singapore Actuarial Society. He currently sits on the Board of Examiners of the Singapore College of Insurers. He is a frequent speaker at conferences in the region on topics of capital and risk management and is a keen reader, golfer and musician. Andrew has a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters in Business Administration.

Jolene Loh - Head of Business Development
Jolene heads the business development function with overall responsibility for new business development, client relationship and marketing strategy in Asia. She has 20 years experience in various management positions as risk manager, insurance broker and business development manager for a large non-life reinsurer. She is a Fellow and Chartered Insurance Practitioner of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK and has a Bachelor of Business Administration as well as a Founder and Honorary Member of the Risk Management Association of Singapore.

Darshan Singh, FIA - Head of Actuarial Services
Darshan has primary responsibility for pricing and financial reporting for Pacific Life Re Singapore Branch. He provides active support to clients with matters related to product development, distribution strategy, pricing, actuarial training, regulatory filing of products and rates, and the development of tailored reinsurance solutions to optimise financial needs.

Darshan began his reinsurance career with Gen Re the UK as a Marketing Actuary, progressing to Head of Research where he led a team responsible for setting mortality, CI, disability income and LTC pricing bases. He then joined Pacific Life Re in the UK as Head of Pricing responsible for all aspects surrounding pricing both Longevity and Protection business. He has worked extensively with clients to assist in pricing and experience analyses, as well as wider product development including tiered CI products, simplified issue products, longevity swaps and CI/disability income hybrid products. Prior to joining Gen Re, Darshan spent a short time with the Financial Services Authority. He has been an active in the industry through presenting at UK actuarial conferences, membership of conference organising committees, chairing an Institute Working Party on IP and serving on ABI and ILAG protection committees.

Shinnosuke Tateno – Representative, Japan Representative Office
Shin has overall responsibility for the Japan Representative Office, bringing with him over 22 years of insurance and reinsurance experience. Shin gained his direct market experience with a Japanese insurance company where he has served in various senior roles over 16 years including product development. He then moved into life and health reinsurance spending five years with a major reinsurer as Head of Marketing in Japan and then as Representative of the Korean office where he was responsible for establishing the operations.

Tan Mui Tze - Head of Finance and Administration
Mui Tze has overall responsibility for the Finance and Administration functions of the Singapore Branch office. She was previously with an international direct life insurer for five years, with responsibility for implementing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as well as the Risk Management function for the company. She was also responsible for various finance functions including management reporting, statutory reporting and expense management. Prior to that, she has four years of audit experience with an international accounting firm. Mui Tze has been a Certified Public Accountant with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS) since 2001.

Paul Jones - Head of Underwriting and Claims
Paul has overall responsibility for the underwriting and claims functions of Pacific Life Re, Singapore Branch. He is a senior industry professional with a proven track record of developing and expanding underwriting and claims functions within appropriate control frameworks. Paul has 20 years of underwriting experience in the insurance industry. Paul previously spent 10 years at Swiss Re where he was responsible for risk management standards in Asia. Paul is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK.
