Pacific Life Re Appoints Jia Yi Tan as Global Chief Underwriting and Claims Officer

Pacific Life Re, a leader in the life and health reinsurance industry, today announced the appointment of Jia Yi Tan as its new Global Chief Underwriting and Claims Officer, based in the company’s Singapore office. Jia takes over from Andrew Doran who has taken on the role of CEO, UnderwriteMe, the Insurtech subsidiary of Pacific Life Re.

With close to 20 years of experience across Asia Pacific, Europe and America, including the last five years with Swiss Re, Jia brings a diverse and global perspective to the role. Her deep insurance expertise combined with a strong track record of leadership, will further advance Pacific Life Re’s strategic priorities across its global protection markets.
